Eliminating Chest and Nipple Hair for
Women.
Normally when you think about chest hair removal, the subject is men. But we do get many queries from women who
find hair on their nipple and between their breasts.
I have hair on my nipples, is this
normal?
Well the answer is yes. Having a bit of hair around the areola of the nipple is perfectly normal female,
although it is not very aesthetic and makes some women a little nervous when detected.
It is actually an evolutionary trait that we still have - we are mammals and so we shouldn´t feel bad about it
or give it much importance.
Usually it is just a question of only a few dark or black hairs that grow very quickly, are coarser and seem to
gain too much length. Nobody likes them and there are different ways to remove them without harming an area as
sensitive as the nipple.
An important starting point is that waxing them away is strongly discouraged, both hot and cold wax.
The area is very sensitive and wax may cause unintended consequences. Moreover, the hairs are few and can be
eliminated with other methods, such as tweezers.
An additional observation is that sometimes two hairs grow out of the same pore therefore you should try to grab
them with the tweezers as close to the skin as possible. Normally plucking them is a good solution, though the hair
will regrow.
For more permanent results electrolysis is a good alternative, though now a bit dated by the invasion of the
laser, or, if the specialist sees fit, the laser itself. Electrolysis is not a run of the mill experience as it can
hurt and the feeling is very strange, so if you decide on this hair removal method you must be prepared for it.
Female body hair is one of the major problems of XXI century woman. There are areas of our body
where hair growth is perfectly normal -legs or underarms.
But there are other areas of the body which strike us as out of the norm. Nipple hair or around the areola is
more common than many women think, but it is best to eliminate it. We must take a little more care when removing
nipple hair as it is a very sensitive area.
As mentioned before, if it is one ora few strays on the nipples, a good option is with tweezers. The correct way
to do this is to press down with one hand on the nipple as you pull out the offending hairs. This reduces the
stretching of the skin and nipple, avoid greater pain and complications as the area of the areola is very
sensitive.
A larger amount of hair between the breasts can be done with wax.
If you are looking for a more lasting solution to your nipple hair, you can use laser hair removal, although
some doctors are reluctant to use this technique in the area of the nipple or areola due to its high
sensitivity.
