Is Pubic Hair Removal Painful?
By J.Rankin
We all have naturally grown hair in our pubic area, this is normal and a part of growing up; the first signs of changes in our bodies as we mature.
Some people find pubic hair attractive, and others are tending to sculpt different designs such as strips, heart shaped and others, whilst another group is removing them completely.
Both men and women have at different times through the ages trimmed and even removed their pubic hair. Over the last few years, starting during the nineties, there has been a growing trend in removing, shaping or trimming.
Since the arrival of the bikini and swim suits, which actually allowed the legs to be seen, many women have found the need to shape their bikini line, by removing symmetrically, pubic hair around the thighs. This is such a normal act today that it is rarely mentioned unless it is to find alternatives that reduce or avoid inflammation, rashes or in grown hair.
What this means is that it is a normal part of life to remove pubic hair to some extent.
The main reasons for seeking a pubic hair remover can be sense of attractiveness, hygiene or even religious traditions. Whatever the reasons it is always best to do a little research.
There is usually one question we ask our selves, will it be painful? - during the hair removal process or after. As usual with this type of question the answer is: It depends.
I know this is an exasperating response, but it is also absolutely correct.
- It depends on the method you choose.
- It depends on the care you take.
So come to think of it, the question should be: does it have to be painful?
- It depends ...
The next question should be, what method should I use to remove pubic hair painlessly?
- It depends - just kidding, there are a some alternatives.
You should note that you can use just about any method that has been invented in some place, but not every method should be applied in every place of your body.
Those with some degree of pain during and/or after the process -remember we all have different pain tolerance levels:
- waxing, Brazilian or Hollywood
- plucking or tweezing
- electrolysis
- laser beams
Those without pain - unless we do something foolish (like shaving with a blunt blade):
- shaving with a razor
- using an electric razor
- applying depilatories
Above all it is painless depending on the chosen method, and for those that involve pain, it does not have to be an act of torture if done probably - I always add that sort of comment as some people do strange things.
