Male Hair Removal Systems
By J. Rankin
For a long time shaving was my most advanced hair removal system. I would occasionally be adventurous and pluck a solitary hair from some strange place.
I was extremely proud when I noticed the first hair on my chin. I was about fourteen and finally felt like an adult. I would be respected by all, and obviously admired by girls. What a day, the beginning of exciting times.
Very casually I walked up to my brother and asked him if he noticed anything on my face. With barely a glance he said there was nothing to see. "Look closer" I said as I pointed to my chin. He leaned over and said "Yes, you're right" and deftly pulled it out. I was furious, specially as he was roaring with laughter.
Not the best hair removal system.
I then proceeded to go through different phases, including the studied absent mindedness of forgetting to shave under the chin, or leaving the four day growth of about twenty hairs.
In time came the major leagues when I manged to graduate to "The Beard", at seventeen. I remember the disappointment when the girls didn't even notice or care I was now actively growing hair, or even getting rid of it. I definitely noticed they were growing other things, but they didn't seem to care about my more obvious attributes. I even started leaving the top four buttons of my shirt undone, as I could certainly see the birth of a hairy chest. The end result of that experiment was a terse "You are going to catch a cold if go out like that" from my mum. I would even casually mention in conversations the need for hair removal systems, but it seems I never impressed anybody.
In time I grew up and despite my hair managed to go out with girls. I even grew a beard, just because I wanted to.
I then noticed a couple of things. The first was that an unshaven face is uncomfortable to your partner in close encounters. The second was that the smoothness you get when you have removed hair from your body, including intimate parts, is far more sensual.
As I have always used the traditional system, foam and shave with a blade system, I continued using it. Now I have to warn you that you can easily shave your legs as many ladies do, but it is not such a good idea to do this in your more tender and intimate places.
Most men will agree that this can be quite nerve wracking, and definitely not worth the risk. Sometimes when you get an idea in your head, you just go ahead and do it ignoring all the absolutely sane reasons why you shouldn't. I was lucky, actually, very lucky. So I can now tell you, you can shave your private parts using foam and blades. How ... very carefully. I don't recommend it, but you can.
The next system I applied was plucking. Pull out the hairs. A very short lived experience, with negligible results and feeling very stupid. You can but live and learn.
I decided I wouldn't try waxing. I think I was beginning to recover my common sense. The two things that helped me out on this were firstly, by imagining myself asking a girl on the counter for directions on waxing and having to explain where, and secondly applying hot wax in such a tender area. As I have a vivid imagination I also imagined having to explain what I was doing while at the emergency room of a hospital if this went wrong. It wasn't worth the effort.
Very similar thoughts went through my head when I discovered that there existed other methods.
Electrolysis, a fine, scientific sounding method. When I realized this meant having the hair destroyed by means of an electric current, my over active imagination took over and came up with too many scenarios.
Laser. It did sound interesting, science fiction in our lives. A beam of light being sprayed over the chosen area. Beam me up Scotty, and then I wondered what would be beamed up. I wasn't to keen with the idea.
Now don't get me wrong. I didn't try either of them, and many people are probably happy with these methods. I just have too active an imagination.
So, I was back to square one. And then I realized that the best results I'd been getting were shaving, but I had never tried an electric shave. This sounded interesting. I can do it myself, which is a plus - as I said I have an over active imagination and could easily imagine having someone else doing it for me, the reaction if I had a reaction. I can repeat and gain experience without further costs. I can experiment, I can share. OK. So far so good.
So to make a short story shorter, I saw, I bought, I conquered!
